Improvements include adding one general purpose lane in each direction and constructing the I-405 Express Lanes, incorporating the existing carpool lanes, and a new lane in each direction between SR-73 and I-605. The OCTA I-405 Design-Build Improvement Project is included in one of the 16 federal critical infrastructure sectors (Transportation) and continues to undergo construction during the COVID-19 pandemic.
G3 Quality has been providing quality materials control, inspection, and testing since construction began in 2018. Our scope covers quality control management for jointed plane concrete pavement (JPCP) used on the roadway alignment.
